Ireland has argued before the International Court of Justice that Israel’s actions following the October 7 Hamas attacks went beyond reason. In its argument at the hearing on the legal consequences of the Israeli occupation, Ireland added that it was dismayed by the current violence in Gaza and its wider implications for the peace process.
