Iraq: United States eliminates Hezbollah brigade commander


A senior commander of the Hezbollah Brigades eliminated by an American drone in the Iraqi capital: according to Washington, the man was responsible for attacks on American forces.

The United States claims responsibility for the drone attack on a 4×4 driving in Baghdad.

Rockets fired from the remotely controlled device killed Abu Baqir al-Saadi, a senior commander of the Hezbollah Brigades.

The Hezbollah Brigades are close to Iran and classified as terrorist by the United States.

According to Washington, the man was involved in organizing attacks against American forces in the region.

Three American soldiers were killed on January 21 in a drone attack in Jordan.
