Iranian Foreign Minister: We will not give up our nuclear rights news

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji said that “if the United States’ goal of talks with Iran is to deprive it of its nuclear rights, then Tehran will never give up on it,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji said.

Araqji added in a speech at the opening of the Iranian Arab Dialogue Conference in the Qatari capital, Doha, that Iran has repeatedly confirmed that its right to enrich uranium is not negotiable, and excluded the “zero fertilization” demand that some American officials demanded.

And he added, “In its indirect talks with the United States, Iran stresses its right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and clearly declares that it does not seek to possess nuclear weapons.”

Araqji also stressed that his country continues its talks with the United States, Europe, Russia and China in good faith, with the aim of reaching an agreement, but it will not accept in any way to impose any unrealistic or illogical demands.

“The Iranian enrichment facilities must be dismantled under any agreement with the United States.”

Trump threatened to bomb Iran if a new agreement was not reached to resolve the long -standing dispute over its nuclear program. Trump announced during his first term, Washington’s withdrawal from the nuclear agreement concluded in 2015 between Tehran and the global forces, with the aim of limiting Iran’s nuclear activities.

Iran is calling for the lifting of sanctions in exchange for its commitment to restrictions that prevent it from producing a nuclear bomb. While US officials announced earlier that they accepted Iran’s enrichment of uranium at low levels, they later demanded to stop all enrichment activities in Iran.
