Iran is carrying out the death sentence against 3 people who were convicted of spying for Mossad news

The Iranian authorities announced, on Wednesday morning, the implementation of death sentences by hanging against 3 people after being convicted of spying for the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad), just one day after the armistice between Iran and Israel entered the implementation after a military escalation that lasted 12 days.

The Iranian judiciary stated in a statement that both Idris Ali, Azad Shuja’i and the Messenger of Ahmed Rasoul were arrested while trying to import equipment used in assassinations inside the country.

They were tried on charges of “dealing with the Zionist entity” and carrying out the death sentence by hanging in the city of Urmia (northwest of the country).

The Mizan agency, which belongs to the judiciary, published the three pictures of the blue prisoners, without revealing additional details related to the targeted personality or the nature of the smuggled equipment, and only indicated that these equipment was previously used in an assassination inside the country.

Hurry up executions

The implementation of these rulings comes two days after the execution of a person convicted in cooperation with the Mossad. These developments indicate a clear escalation in Iranian dealing with spy issues, especially after the Israeli attack that started on June 13 and targeted military sites and nuclear facilities inside the country.

The head of the Iranian judiciary, Ghulam Hussein Mohseni, had pledged Sunday to “accelerate the decision to decide on national security cases, especially those related to spying in favor of Israel or its support,” describing those who work in its favor as “the fifth queue of the enemy.”

The Iranian authorities say that the recent Israeli attack revealed serious intelligence breakthroughs inside the country, which prompted them to take strict judicial measures to try those suspected of their cooperation with Israel.

Tehran accuses the Mossad of standing behind many assassinations and bombings that targeted sensitive personalities, scholars and facilities in the country, especially within the Iranian nuclear program.

Israel launched a large -scale attack on Iran on June 13, which lasted 12 days, during which it targeted military and nuclear sites and civil facilities, in addition to assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists, which resulted in 606 dead, 5 thousand and 332 injured, according to the Iranian Ministry of Health.

On the other hand, Iran responded with missile attacks and aircraft on Israeli military and intelligence sites, penetrating the air defense systems.

On June 24, Washington announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, after a mediation led by US President Donald Trump personally, amid increasing references to the desire of international parties to contain the escalation.
