The Iranian national team took the lead in the second minute through Karim Ansar Fard, before Shoja Khalilzadeh added the second goal in the 12th minute.

In the 38th minute, Mehdi Ghaidi scored the third goal for Iran, while Tamer Seyam scored the only goal for Palestine in the sixth minute of stoppage time for the first half.
In the 55th minute, Sardar Azmoun scored the fourth goal for the Iranian team.
The third group matches started with the UAE-Hong Kong match, which ended with the UAE winning 3-1.
