Invidia intends to launch a new artificial intelligence set for China at a much lower price of the H20 model, which has been imposed on export to it recently and plans to start a huge production soon, may be next June.
Reuters quoted two sources as saying that the graphics processing unit will be part of the latest generation of artificial intelligence processors from Invidia, Blackwell architecture, and it is expected that the price ranges between 6500 and 8000 dollars, which is much lower than the H20 price ranging between 10 thousand and 12 thousand dollars.
Weak specifications
The lowest price reflects the weakest specifications and simplest manufacturing requirements for new chips.
The two sources said that the device will rely on the RPIS processor 6000D from Invidia, a server graphics processor, and will use the traditional GDA 7 Memory instead of a more advanced high -frequency memory.
They added that Inviteia will not use the advanced manufacturing technology of TSM in Taiwan, which allows multiple slices on one chip.
A spokesman for the Envenia said that the company is still evaluating its options “limited … until we settle to design a new product and get the approval of the US government, we are actually excluded from the $ 50 billion database market.”
China is still a huge market for Invidia, as it acquired 13% of its sales in the past fiscal year, and this is the third time that Invidia has to design a graphical treatment unit (GPU) for the second largest economy in the world after restrictions imposed by the American authorities that are striving to obstruct Chinese technological development.
The new graphics processing unit is expected to maintain Invidia, despite its weak computer capacity compared to H20, on its competitiveness despite losing a large market share so far due to export restrictions. Its main rival in China is Huawei, producing a slide (910B).
