International newspapers covered the issue of the disappearance of many Palestinians in a mysterious manner after their arrest by the occupation forces, and also pointed out the death of many due to extreme brutality in the Gaza Strip.
The newspaper “Haaretz” confirmed that many Palestinians from Gaza mysteriously disappeared after they were last seen with the occupation forces.
She said that the Israeli army denies the existence of many missing persons, noting that in many cases “it turns out that the missing persons are either still in detention or have lost their lives.”
In The Independent newspaper, a report covered the news about children dying in the Gaza Strip from the extreme cold, noting that about 1.6 million displaced people live in temporary shelters that provide little protection from rain and cold.
The report said that aid does not cover even the most basic needs of the population, and that those remaining are struggling to adapt to the war conditions in the winter.
As for the newspaper “Liberation”, it quoted a doctor specializing in psychology who lives in Gaza that the residents of the Gaza Strip have experienced all forms of death, adding that the displaced people who have been moving from one place to another since the beginning of the war do not find a safe place to settle in and that they are besieged by bombing, hunger, cold and despair.
Israel is threatened by ongoing war
In the newspaper “Jerusalem Post”, an opinion article said that Israel is threatened by an ongoing war with the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) and the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the article ruled out the continuation of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon permanently.
The article said that the Houthis do not show any retreat from their position even after Israel and some of its allies carried out attacks on sites in Yemen, considering that this reality reflects the magnitude of the threat facing Tel Aviv on multiple fronts.
