International newspapers: Israel is carrying out ethnic cleansing and a right-wing criminal policy in Gaza policy

International newspapers highlighted the repercussions of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon, and the catastrophic human tragedy it left behind, in addition to the West’s double standards.

Haaretz newspaper says that Israel is sliding towards ethnic cleansing and its soldiers are implementing the criminal policy of the extreme right, while the opposition does not express any objection.

The Israeli newspaper adds, “It is not surprising to raise doubts about Israel actually carrying out an ethnic cleansing operation in northern Gaza to permanently empty it of Palestinians, as this doubt is associated with what was called (the generals’ plan).”

The Times newspaper said that “the most extreme Israelis see the Israeli escalation in northern Gaza as an opportunity for settlement expansion.”

The British newspaper spoke about groups that have begun to develop a serious plan for stability in Gaza, noting that this idea is accepted by several ministers in Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.

It concluded that Netanyahu’s comment regarding the resettlement of Gaza stems from his awareness that the United States “will not agree to the move, but the settlers feel strong support from their government.”

The Washington Post reported that the US State Department received about 500 reports about Israel’s use of American weapons in attacks that “caused unnecessary harm to civilians in Gaza.”

She said that the US State Department failed to comply with its policies that require direct investigations into allegations of this kind, especially since they included what was classified as a violation of US and international law.

The American newspaper Politico revealed that the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee has sponsored hundreds of trips allocated to transporting congressional representatives to Israel over the years, and bringing them together with figures whose positions are consistent with the policies of the Netanyahu government.

This activity has become more active since the beginning of the war on Gaza – according to the newspaper – and most representatives belong to the Democratic Party, as the discussions held by American representatives in Israel “play a role in determining their views.”

On the other hand, an article in Le Monde newspaper criticized what he called the West’s double standards, pointing out that talk has been going on for more than a year only about Israel’s security, with little interest in the rights of the Palestinians, and calls for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon are not heeded.

The European Union – according to the French newspaper – does not hesitate to impose sanctions on Russia, Iran, and North Korea, but it seems able to bear the ongoing tragedy in Gaza and Lebanon.
