Six Palestinians were injured by bullets today, Sunday, during confrontations between Palestinians on one side and the Israeli army and settlers on the other side in the town of Urif, in the northern West Bank.

In a brief statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, it said that its ambulance crews “dealt with 6 injuries during the storming of the town of Urif by settlers and occupation forces, south of the city of Nablus.”

It stated that among the injuries were “4 with live bullets, one with shrapnel from live bullets, and one with a stone in the hand. All injuries were taken to the hospital.”

Before that, the association reported that its crews dealt with “the injury of a 15-year-old child with live bullets in the shoulder during the settlers and occupation forces’ storming of Orif, and the injury of a 20-year-old young man with live bullets in the pelvis, and he is being transported to the hospital.”

In a later statement, the association reported that “the occupation forces detained the ambulance while transporting the injured person to Rafidiya Hospital.”

It added that its crews also dealt with “the injury of a 22-year-old man with live bullets in the thigh, and the injury of a 20-year-old man with bullet fragments throughout the body.”

Arrests

The largest raids were in Balata camp and the eastern region of the city of Nablus, where military vehicles stormed the camp, deployed snipers on the roofs of a number of houses, and began shooting randomly.

A military bulldozer began to demolish and bulldoze a number of streets in the vegetable market, which it had bulldozed a few days ago.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, and raided a number of homes to carry out an arrest campaign.

On the other hand, Israeli occupation police forces stormed Shuafat Camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

The soldiers stormed the outskirts of the camp adjacent to the military checkpoint, and fired tear gas bombs towards the homes of citizens, causing a number of them to suffer from suffocation, before the occupation forces later withdrew to the direction of the military checkpoint.

The occupation forces arrested 22 Palestinians, including a woman, a child, and freed prisoners, last night and this morning, in various parts of the West Bank.

The Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported in a statement that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Jenin, Hebron, Tulkarm, Ramallah, Qalqilya, and Jericho, bringing the number of detainees since October 7 to more than 9,125 in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
