On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces carried out new incursions and attacks into cities in the West Bank, while the Palestinian resistance mourned the martyrs who fell while carrying out operations against the occupation soldiers.

The Hamas movement mourned Adam Farraj and Moataz al-Nabulsi, “who rose to fame after a clash it described as heroic with the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Balata camp in the city of Nablus.”

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – the military wing of the Fatah movement – also mourned two resistance fighters who were martyred while carrying out a shooting operation at the Netsani Oz checkpoint, west of the city of Tulkarm.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said that they had confirmed losses among the ranks of the occupation army during the operation.

For its part, the Israeli army said that in an ambush it killed two gunmen who approached the security fence and attempted to carry out a shooting attack towards Israeli settlements in the city of Tulkarm.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that two young Palestinians were killed at dawn on Tuesday by Israeli army gunfire near the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.

A security source told the agency that the two young men, Abdel Fattah Salah al-Din Jabara and Ahmed Mustafa Muhammad Rajab – both from Tulkarm camp – were martyred by occupation bullets and their bodies were detained by the Israeli army.

The factional coordination committee in Tulkarm mourned both Jabara and Rajab and declared mourning in the city.

Sniping and inspection

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli army forces opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle at a military checkpoint west of Tulkarm.

Witnesses stated that the forces prevented Palestinian ambulance crews from reaching the site.

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli army carried out a raid into several neighborhoods of the city of Tulkarm, during which snipers were installed on the roofs of buildings and searched homes, according to local sources.

Yesterday, Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 3 people were killed by Israeli army gunfire during the storming of the city of Nablus.

Based on Ministry of Health data, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army gunfire in the West Bank has risen to 527 since October 7, in addition to about 5,000 wounded.

In conjunction with the war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army expanded its operations in the West Bank, in addition to the escalation of settlers’ attacks on the population, which also resulted in the arrest of about 9,000 Palestinians, according to official Palestinian sources.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza, which has left more than 119,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
