In a cruel scene that reflects one of the images of the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, a Palestinian child breathed his last while lying on the floor of a hospital in the middle of the Strip, after an Israeli missile targeted a residential apartment.

A video clip, circulated by activists on social media, showed the Palestinian Yamen Al-Bayoumi lying on the floor of Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, with his small body as he was breathing his last.

Yamen was injured by shrapnel from an Israeli missile that targeted their residential apartment in the Nuseirat camp, in several areas of his body, causing his head to be torn off and the loss of a number of fingers on his hand and parts of his feet, according to what appeared in the video.

Eyewitnesses reported to Anatolia that earlier today, Friday, the Israeli army bombed an apartment belonging to the Al-Bayoumi family, in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing Yamen and his sister Basma.

The Israeli army continues its acts of genocide, and does not differentiate between a child and an elderly person, or a man and a woman, by directly targeting them inside their homes and places of displacement. While the North Governorate has witnessed an ongoing Israeli ground attack for 6 days, resulting in dozens of Palestinian martyrs and wounded.

With absolute American support, this bloody war in Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, resulted in more than 140,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.

Israel continues its brutal practices against every living being, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the miserable humanitarian situation in besieged Gaza.
