In Spain, wearing a mask becomes compulsory again in hospital


From Wednesday January 10, wearing a mask will once again become compulsory in hospitals and public health centers in Spain. Pharmacies are not affected by this measure.

The government justifies its decision by an increase in winter viruses, such as influenza or Covid-19, particularly in the east of the country.

Even if certain regions took the lead and imposed the wearing of masks a few days ago, this decision by the Spanish government is far from unanimous.
