In response to Israel… World Health confirms the accuracy of the Gaza martyrs count News

The World Health Organization confirmed on Tuesday its full confidence in the statistics of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on the number of martyrs who fell in the Israeli aggression on the Strip, after Israel cast doubt on the numbers.

Last week, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip updated its analysis of the total number of martyrs, which amounts to about 35,000, and said that the identities of about 25,000 of them have been fully identified so far. These figures were republished by UN agencies.

“The fact that we now have 25,000 people whose identities have been confirmed is a step forward,” WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier said at a press conference in Geneva, adding that “there is nothing wrong” with the Health Ministry’s data.
