In Poland, a car drives into a crowd, at least 19 injured


Three children are among the injured. The driver who fled was found.

In Poland, a car hit a crowd of people waiting at a tram stop this Friday in the city of Szczecin, in northwestern Poland.

Around twenty people were injured during the collision. The vehicle ended its mad dash against another car after hitting two others, local media reported.

News channel TVN24 reported that three children were among the victims and two people were in critical condition.

Immediately after this incident, the police indicated that the driver of the car causing the tragedy, a 33-year-old man, fled but was eventually arrested.
