In pictures: They burned them alive in the Daraj neighborhood massacre policy

In light of the continuing massacres in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, parts of the Strip are witnessing a series of horrific massacres in the last two days.

The most recent was at dawn on Tuesday in central Gaza City, where an Israeli raid targeted a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, killing 10 Palestinians, including 3 children, and seriously wounding others.

The bodies of the martyrs arrived at Baptist Hospital, and were transformed into charred remains as a result of the violent bombing.

Civil defense teams worked hard to search for missing people under the rubble, after they were able to control the fires that broke out due to the bombing.

This is not the first massacre in the neighborhood, as last August 10, the occupation bombed the Al-Tabaeen School, which was sheltering thousands of displaced people, causing a massacre that claimed the lives of at least 100 martyrs, most of whom were children and women.

The neighborhood was one of the oldest cities in the world, founded by the Canaanites in the third millennium BC. It forms a major part of the ancient hill that was part of Gaza, and is dotted with stairs and stairs, from which it takes its name.

The neighborhood is distinguished by its historical monuments, but it is subjected to a systematic series of Israeli attacks that erase its heritage landmarks.
