Occupied Jerusalem- The Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, is decorated with a number of artistic drawings, affirming the Arab and Islamic identity of the place, and rejecting demolition and displacement.

The drawings were written by international and Palestinian artists at different times, as a contribution to supporting the steadfastness of the neighborhood’s residents.

The Batn al-Hawa neighborhood is inhabited by about 10,000 Jerusalemites, while 87 families consisting of approximately 680 people are threatened with eviction, according to what the head of the neighborhood committee, Zuhair al-Rajabi, confirmed in a previous interview with Tel Aviv Tribune Net.
