Kyiv has announced that it has affected two major energy sites in the south west of Russia
Long -range Ukrainian drones have struck two important energy production sites in Russia.
The first located in Volgograd is one of the largest oil refineries in the country, and the second is a gas processing plant in AstrakhanKyiv said on Monday.
Volgograd is located about 600km from the Ukraine border, Astrakhan almost 1000 km.
According to the head of this region located in the southwest of the country, the attack sparked significant fires and disrupted air traffic between the Volga and the Caucasus mountains.
According to Kyiv, these two sites produce large amounts of fuel to the Russian army.
The latter tried to minimize the attacks, contenting herself with announcing the destruction of 70 Ukrainian drones, including 25 above the Volgograd region, and 27 above the Rostov region.
Kherson touched and Tchassiv Yar by the Russian army
Russian strikes killed a person in the city of Kherson, in the south of the country, and injured fourteen in the past day, according to Ukrainian officials.
Kherson’s army also said Russia had attacked a passenger bus using drones, injuring five people.
