The IDF, supported by Israeli domestic intelligence, freed one of the Hamas hostages.

The Israeli military did not provide any details about the operation.

We only know that Kaid Farkhan Alkadi was found in one of the Gaza tunnels, the same tunnel where the remains of six hostages were found last week.

Kaid Farkhan Alkadi is 52 years old and comes from a Bedouin town in the Negev desert.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister: “Welcome home, Farhan Alkadi. I congratulate the IDF and the Shin Bet on this new successful release operation. We are working tirelessly to bring back all our hostages. We are doing this in two main ways: through negotiations and through release (rescue) operations. Both of these require our military presence on the ground and unrelenting military pressure on Hamas. We will continue to do so until we bring everyone home.”

Kaid Farhan Alkadi is the father of eleven children.

On October 7, on the sidelines of the massacres, Hamas terrorists kidnapped 251 people. About a hundred hostages are still being held, more than a third are presumed dead.
