The Institute for the Study of Wars reveals that Israeli forces say they have weakened 10 of Hamas’ 24 battalions in the Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defense Forces released a report explaining its efforts to eliminate Hamas militiamen and commanders since October 7.
The report states that Hamas is made up of 30,000 militiamen in the Gaza Strip, divided into five regional brigades and 24 battalions.
Each battalion is made up of several bastions and military posts.
The Israeli military said its ground forces are fighting in multi-battalion areas and have assassinated five leaders in various positions in Hamas intelligence, anti-armor units and special forces.
