“I will never leave”: the Palestinians reject the plan of Israel to occupy the city of Gaza | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

The Palestinians of Gaza City are faced with the prospect of a new movement with a mixture of fear and challenge after Israel announced plans for a military control of the largest city in the enclave, where almost a million people are currently hosting.

Friday, the city was thrown into chaos after the Israel security firm approved the plans for the takeover, which would imply the forced elimination of the Palestinians already moved several times in areas of concentration in the South.

“I swear to God that I have faced death as 100 times, so for me, it is better to die here,” said Ahmed Hirz, who has been moved with his family at least eight times since the start of the War of Israel.

“I will never leave here,” he told Tel Aviv Tribune. “We have suffered suffering and families and torture and miserable conditions, and our final decision is to die here.”

This feeling was shared by others who spoke to Tel Aviv Tribune. Rajab Khader said he would refuse to move to the south of Gaza, to “stay in the streets with dogs and other animals”.

“We have to stay in Gaza (city) with our families and loved ones. The Israelis will find nothing other than our bodies and our souls,” he said.

Maghzouza Saada, who was previously moved from the northeast of Beit Hanoon, expressed his outrage of being forced to move again, while nowhere in the band could be considered safe.

“The South is not safe. Gaza City is not safe, the North is not sure. Where should we go? ” She asked. “Do we throw ourselves into the sea?”

‘Panic state’

Reporting Gaza City, Hani Mahmoud, Tel Aviv Tribune, said residents have been in a “panic” since the early hours of Friday on the plans of Israel to ethnically clean the region.

He said that some had started to pack everything left from their property. “Not because they know where they are going, but because they do not want to be taken in the (last) moment. They want to be ready for the moment when the Israeli army obliges them,” said Mahmoud.

“Fear, concern, despair are all increasing. The Israeli army promises an evacuation area where people, in fact, end up being killed in these regions,” he added.

Amjad Shawa, director of the Palestinian NGO network, said residents were tired of being moved by force and repeatedly. This time, he said, the evacuation prospect posed even greater dangers, with hospitals, water facilities and other destroyed infrastructure.

“Now there is nothing to give to people, and it’s risky,” he said.

“We have to move elders who cannot walk, and we have patients and injured people who cannot move. We cannot leave them behind, and we cannot give them services. ”

Some 900,000 Palestinians in danger

While the news of the controversial escalation of Israel is followed, the military continued its attacks against the vulnerable population, killing at least 36 people since dawn – including at least 21 who were looking for aid – according to medical sources.

Among the attacks of the day, an Israeli drone has targeted the southern municipality of Gaza in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis City, killing two Palestinians, according to a source from the Nasser hospital which spoke to Tel Aviv Tribune.

Tel Aviv Tribune Arabic reported that a help seeker had been killed by Israeli forces in northern Gaza. And at least two people were killed on a help distribution site managed by the controversial GHF in the United States and suspicion of Israel, which should be expanded under the new offensive of Israel.

Reports from the capital of Jordan, Amman, Hoda Abdel-Hamid d’Tel Aviv Tribune, said that the notorious foundation, which currently manages four aid sites, where more than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed while trying to obtain food, mainly by Israeli forces, would operate 12 additional hubs in the enclave.

Abdel-Hamid said that Israel had not given a “exact chronology” to take control of Gaza City, but that an offensive on the ground was in sight, with “the troop movement along the southern border of Israel with Gaza”. The withdrawal of up to 900,000 Palestinians from the city could, she said, take weeks.

In the longer term, military experts said that Israel’s plans – who would see that he assume security control over the enclave, establishing an alternative of civil administration which is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian authority – could take years.

‘War crime’

In the midst of the United Nations World Condemnation, the European Union and a number of countries, it was not clear what the main military medium of Israel, the United States, made plans.

US vice-president JD VANCE refused to say whether his administration had received a prior notification concerning Israel’s plans in Gaza City, but continued to hold his support for a Palestinian state and stressed that “Hamas cannot attack innocent”.

Experts say that Israel would not be able to move forward with its plan to take Total military control from Gaza without billions of dollars in Washington support. And few have forgotten the declared desire of President Donald Trump to “clean” Gaza and transform the enclave into “Riviera du Middle East”.

Hamas on Friday called Israel’s plans for Gaza City a “war crime”, saying that the decision explained why the country suddenly withdrew from the last series of cease-fire negotiations.

In a separate declaration on the telegram, he said that the Palestinians “would resist any aggressive occupation or force”, slamming the United States for having covered Israel and accusing the international community of complicity of crimes against the Palestinian people.

The United Nations Security Council will organize an emergency session this weekend to discuss Israel’s escalation.
