Children with skeletons, and others standing in lines to get some food to relieve their hunger pangs or a dose of water that might quench some of their thirst, and other scenes of children picking up the remaining grains of rice in a pot.

There are clips showing the inability of parents to provide small amounts of food to save the lives of the remaining members of their family, and cries for help from mothers to save the lives of their children due to malnutrition and deadly hunger.

All of these scenes were documented by photographers’ lenses, as they exacerbated the famine in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a stifling siege by the Israeli occupation forces for several months.

With the spread of many shocking images coming from Gaza on social media platforms, fans of the social media platforms launched the hashtag “North Gaza is dying of hunger,” in order to convey the suffering of the people and shed light on the tragic conditions in which people are living.

Activists circulated clips documenting the famine that the people of the north are suffering from due to the Israeli siege, and Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent Anas Al-Sharif published a picture of a child whose bones had protruded, his eyes had sunken, his face was pale, and his skin was wrinkled as if it were a skeleton, due to the depletion of food.

Al-Sharif commented on the photo by saying, “Children are dying of hunger. This child, with his emaciated body, explains the suffering in excruciating and painful details!”

Local pages also published a clip showing a young man from northern Gaza crying for his daughter, who is at risk of death due to hunger and malnutrition.

As for journalist Musa Salem, he posted a video clip on his Instagram account showing a group of children wiping with their small hands what remained of the rice in a cooking pot, and commented on it by saying, “Hunger, poverty, and complete absence of the most basic basics of life in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Journalist Osama Al-Ashi complained about the state of hunger that he and his family are experiencing due to the Israeli siege. He wrote, “I am journalist Osama Al-Ashi from Gaza City. I am very hungry, and I have a fetus in my wife’s womb. I am also very hungry, and my wife is very afraid for her because she is very hungry. My family, friends, and neighbors are very hungry.” .

“Hunger has killed the young and the old, O world.” With these words, a Gazan woman from the northern Gaza Strip addressed her appeal to the world because of the famine that is killing the people around her.

Activists also published video clips showing the death of children in northern Gaza due to malnutrition resulting from the starvation policy imposed by the Israeli occupation against the population.

The suffering of the people of northern Gaza with hunger due to the Israeli siege since the beginning of the aggression cannot be shed by a single report. In every street, neighborhood and region in the north there are hundreds of stories and dozens of testimonies and clips that tell of a painful reality that the people of northern Gaza are experiencing due to the lack of food, food and medicine as a result of the imposed siege. They were attacked by the Israeli occupation army.
