Hundreds of people demonstrated in European cities yesterday, Saturday, to demand an end to arming the Israeli government and to denounce its ongoing crimes against the Palestinians.

In the German capital, Berlin, hundreds of people participated in a protest near the “Platz der Luftbrücke” metro station, and marched carrying Palestinian flags.

Protesters held up banners reading, “Genocide does not justify another genocide” and “Germany, stop arming the fascist regime of (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.”

Among the chants chanted by the participants were: “Stop the killing and war,” “Freedom for Palestine,” “Hands off Palestine,” “Zionism is a crime,” and “Stop the genocide.”

While the police arrested at least 5 people, without mentioning the reason.

The Swiss city of Geneva also witnessed a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people, near the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags during the event, expressing their condemnation of the Israeli attacks and crimes on the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

They also called for an end to what they called the genocide being committed by Israel and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Participants in the vigil chanted slogans against Netanyahu, US President Joe Biden, and the countries that support them.

In Milan, Italy, dozens demonstrated in solidarity with Palestine, and to demand an end to the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip and the killing of civilians.

In Denmark, the cities of Aarhus and Odense witnessed two protests in support of Gaza and the West Bank, and the demonstrators demanded an end to the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians.

In disregard of the international community, Israel has been continuing its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
