He stressed that the transition to fighting in Lebanon requires political, military and social preparations in Israel, adding that they are not available yet. In addition, Tel Aviv’s message to Hezbollah was simple by conducting maneuvers from two brigades of the “146th” Division, which is from the Northern Command, adding that “it is not considered Enough to lead to an all-out war in Lebanon.”
The military expert also cited the statements of Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, during which he affirmed that the party does not want a war with the occupation, but will fight it if it is imposed on it.
Regarding Hezbollah’s strategic goals of escalation on the northern front, Hanna believes that Hezbollah has drawn new equations that Israel has not encountered in its conflict with the Arabs, such as creating a buffer zone inside Israel, displacing settlers from the north, and striking important targets of weight and strategic value for the army on various levels. Levels.
He concluded that Hezbollah wants to create new equations that include, “We are capable of war, and you should not come to Lebanon,” basing this on its greater connection to the axis of unity in the arenas.
