How is the White House portraying the Gaza war to the media? | Israel’s war against Gaza

Despite rumors from the White House, Israel is doing exactly as the United States wants, says The Intercept’s Jeremy Scahill.

Actions speak louder than words, so journalists should conclude that Israel’s war on Gaza is playing out exactly as the Biden administration wants, says Jeremy Scahill, one of the co-founders of the independent news site The Intercept.

Scahill told host Steve Clemons that the United States is providing political, legal, diplomatic and military support for Israel’s scorched earth campaign, while some officials have expressed concern for Palestinian lives.

Scahill argues that even if Hamas did not exist, Israel would face armed resistance because, over the decades, Palestinians received the message that diplomacy would not work and that Israel would not treat them as human beings .
