Israel’s war on Gaza is far from funny, but some comedians tackle history head-on in their stand-up shows. This is not because they think the destruction or death of thousands of Palestinians is funny or worthy of ridicule, but because they believe in the power of satire – the ability of comedy to challenge narratives , building bridges and even helping people heal through humor.
