Nabatieh- A few meters away from the terrible destruction of its heritage and commercial market and its two daughters, the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon launched it from the throats of its sons in support of the besieged Gaza, and to condemn the policy of starvation and killing that Israel is pursuing against it, through a solidarity stand attended by educational, cultural, municipal, religious, sports and scout events, and the participants raised the Lebanese and Palestinian flags.
The mayor of the city of Nabatiyeh, Abbas Fakhr al -Din, confirmed to Al -Jazeera Net that this event is the least that can be presented to the people of Gaza after this suspicious silence from most of the world leaders, towards the massacres and intentional killing, starvation and destruction that did not stop, and stressed that the people of the south were and will remain alongside the Palestinian cause, and the free Palestinian people, in order to recover their rights.
Fakhreddin reminded that they had supported the Palestinian issue since the last century, and they were the first to stood by Gaza and its people, and presented their best youth in redemption, including its former mayor and a number of members of its municipal council, in the last Israeli war on Lebanon.

The civil society in Nabatiyeh called for the active participation in this solidarity stand that was held yesterday, Wednesday, in the courtyard of Al -Husseini Club in the city, and the founder of the “Sons of the Country” group, Haider Badr al -Din – in his talk to Al -Jazeera Net – expressed his deep sorrow for what is happening in Gaza, where young and adults die of starvation, due to the Israeli siege.
He said, “The Palestinian blood is our blood, and this bleeding is our bleeding, and the Nabatiyeh has provided a lot and is still, but the world must move, these women and men who are starving, do they not deserve us to move and make a cry to the Arab world and the whole world for them?
Badr al -Din notes that Lebanon has supported Gaza and presented the most precious possessions, “except that with the continuation of the Israeli brutality policy, it cannot be resigned from his humanity, but on the contrary, he is now clinging to the option of defending the people of the besieged sector, and raising the voice high in order for the world to wake up from its slumber.”
Mother case
In turn, the son of the city of Nabatiyeh, Muhammad Sabah and his family, came to the solidarity stand, and spoke to Al -Jazeera Net about his regret for the global silence in front of the horror of the scene in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the people of southern Lebanon are biased alongside the right and the Palestinian issue in the face of Israeli arrogance.
Sabah explained, “The people of Gaza, our people, are killed and crushed daily, and we are proud to stand by their side, and we presented the martyrs and everything we have, and we will continue to provide every precious and precious, for this issue.”

The plastic artist Mona Hamza told Al -Jazeera Net, “Our participation is a simple expression of what our people live in Palestine, we try with all the power we have to solidify, because we are in solidarity with our humanity and noble feelings that were buried within us, and we say to our people in Palestine we are with you with all the simple paintings, science and voice, and we are one people, and our battle is one, and God willing, we will win.”
She pointed out that the artist can express more through his feathers, and he can convey this suffering in his own way, and this painting was inspired by real scenes that took place in occupied Palestine, and every piece in it tells a story, and through it you try to transfer the injustice of this people to the world.
The struggle continues
In turn, the plastic artist, Sabreen Marwah, confirmed to Al -Jazeera Net that the Lebanese people grew up in the love of the Palestinian cause, and she expresses her belief in her to draw.
She added, “The Palestinian child has always been in the heart of my paintings because his suffering is real and large, and we do not know when it will end, and this oil painting expresses a scene of destruction in Gaza specifically, and it shows a brother who embraces his sister and covers them with the Palestinian flag to emphasize steadfastness and carry the issue, and proceed with it despite all the tragedies, fatigue and suffering, and they are steadfast and remaining, and the earth will remain so.”
Marwa emphasized that no person can resign from his humanitarian role in supporting the oppressed, and “he says I have performed my duty and the matter has ended, as long as injustice is continuing, the struggle should continue until the truth returns to his companions.”
She stressed that the sons of southern Lebanon will remain the precious and precious for the Palestinian issue and all national issues, noting that many southern towns will be on dates for various cultural events, in order to emphasize the belief of the southerners in their cause and not to abandon them under any circumstance.
