How did Al-Duwairi comment on Gallant’s admission that there is no solution to the pockets of resistance in Gaza? | News

Military and strategic expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi said that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s statement that there is no complete solution to the pockets of resistance in the Gaza Strip comes in the context of partially distancing himself from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During his analysis for Tel Aviv Tribune, Al-Duwairi stated that Gallant’s statement contains a contradiction, as he says that there are strengths of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) that cannot be eliminated, but at the same time he confirms to his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, that the war will continue until its goals are achieved.

He added that there is a clear contradiction in the sequence of ideas and their logic among the occupation leaders, noting that Gallant faces great challenges. Among them: the failure to manage the battle and the consequences associated with its results.

He pointed out that Gallant may end up in The Hague after his statements about the siege of Gaza by preventing water, electricity, and food, and treating its residents as human animals, while Netanyahu – in addition to The Hague – may end up in prison in Israel in light of the corruption and bribery charges that are pursuing him.

As for Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy’s statement about withdrawing reserve forces due to “the state of tension existing between the battlefield and the requirements of normal life,” Al-Duwairi described the step as appearing to be a temporary remedy, and indicating confusion and lack of clarity of vision, in light of the absence of military objectives and the blurring of the scene.

Yesterday, Thursday, Gallant said that there is no complete solution to what he called “pockets of resistance” in Gaza, despite his confirmation that Israel destroyed the organizational frameworks of the Hamas movement in the northern Gaza Strip, and killed thousands of its militants, as he put it.
