Houthis: We hit an Israeli ship with a ballistic missile News

|

The Houthi group announced on Tuesday evening that it had struck an Israeli ship in the Arabian Sea with a ballistic missile, as part of the attacks it launched in support of the Gaza Strip.

The group’s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said that they carried out a qualitative operation with a new ballistic missile that targeted an Israeli ship in the Arabian Sea.

The group explained that the targeted ship is Israeli and bears the name “MSC Sarah”, and was bombed by a new ballistic missile that recently entered service.

On Sunday evening, the Houthi group announced that it had targeted two ships in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean with missiles and a drone boat, for violating the ban on access to Israeli ports imposed by the group.

Sarie warned companies continuing to do business with the Israeli occupation through maritime shipping that their ships would be directly targeted.

Since last November, the Houthi group has been launching attacks on Israeli cargo ships or those associated with them – especially in the Red Sea – with missiles and drones, in solidarity with Gaza, against which Israel has been waging an aggression since October 7, 2023.

In response to these attacks, Washington and London began launching air strikes and missile attacks on Houthi sites in Yemen, but this did not succeed in deterring them, according to experts and analysts.
