A new American MQ-9 Reaper drone has been shot down in Yemen. The Houthis released images showing the aircraft being targeted by a surface-to-air missile in a desert region in the central province of Marib.

This is the third such slaughter in the month of May alone.

The CIA has reportedly been flying Reaper drones over Yemen, both to monitor the war and as part of its campaign in the Arabian Peninsula against Al-Qaeda, the terrorist group’s local branch

Since the Houthis seized the capital Sanaa in 2014, the US military has lost at least five drones to the rebels.
