Ali Al-Qahhoum, a member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah Movement (Houthis), said that any hostile move against Yemen will have dire consequences and great costs.
This statement comes at a time when Israel and America are discussing the idea of responding to the Houthi group’s targeting of commercial ships heading to Israeli ports.

He stressed that Yemen is ready with all defensive options in response to any “American-Israeli-Western hostile movements.”
Al-Qahhoum explained, “Yemen is a concerned partner in protecting maritime navigation international law in accordance with international laws and customs.

Victory for Gaza
This comes within the framework of the movement’s response to the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza, which led to the death of about 19,000 Palestinians, most of whom were women and children.
The movement had previously attacked Israeli ships, taking some of them to Yemeni ports.
The group later announced a strategy to prevent cargo ships from arriving in Israel, regardless of the nationality of the ship and the entity that manages it.
The Houthi group stressed that these measures will continue until Israel allows food and medicine to enter the Gaza Strip.
