Homes hit by Russian drones in Ukraine

In Ukraine, homes were hit by Russian drone strikes during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Attacks which left at least six injured in Odessa and material damage: several buildings and a warehouse were damaged.

According to Ukrainian authorities, air defense systems in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions shot down eleven of the fourteen drones launched by Moscow. Iranian-designed Shade drones, according to Kyiv, which is still calling on its Western allies to step up their military aid, while the Russian army continues its nightly attacks against the main cities and infrastructure in Ukraine.

On the Russian side, authorities in the Krasnodar region confirmed via Telegram that a fire had broken out at an oil refinery in the port of Tuapse, on the Black Sea, in southern Russia. According to local sources, there was only material damage. The fire was put out during the night.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
