The Palestinian child, Muhammad Rushdi Hamadeh, was killed by severe wounds, which he suffered early this month, after an Israeli bombing targeting his family’s house in Jabalia Al -Balad, northern Gaza Strip.
The child Muhammad was the only one for his parents, and he was born 15 years after attempts to have children in multiple countries through external cultivation and fertilization operations.
Muhammad was seriously wounded in an Israeli raid carried out on June 1, and he remained on industrial respirators at the patient’s friends in Gaza for 7 days, before he breathed his last as a result of his deteriorating health condition and the lack of medical equipment needed to treat him.
In a photo report of Al -Jazeera Anser Al -Sharif, the details of the incident appeared since its first moments, as he broadcast the painful scenes documented by the camera’s father, in which the child’s father appeared running barefoot in the ruins of the neighborhood, carrying his injured son, and calling on him to help find an ambulance.
In his testimony to Al -Jazeera, the director of the Friends of the Patient Hospital explained that the child Muhammad was suffering from multiple fractures of the skull and face injuries and scalp, and he was in critical condition from the first moment.
He said that the medical staff did everything he could in light of the limited capabilities, but the lack of medicines and equipment due to the Israeli siege prevented his life from being saved.
He added that the child “was on the industrial respiratory system from the first moment, and possible treatments were provided, but his condition was tragic, and today he died of his wounds.”
The family of Muhammad Hamada lost its only child who had awaited it long, as it came to life after treatment attempts that lasted more than a decade and a half, which included a movement between several countries with the aim of having a child.
The tragedy chapters did not end at the moment of death, as the reporter confirmed that the occupation planes bombed the vicinity of Jabalia Al -Balad during the burial ceremony of the child, forcing his father to escape the body of his son until he was able to bury him at a later time.
The father’s footage shows as a result of a result – while he carries the body of his child – “O my life, my love, O Muhammad,” in a scene that shook the feelings of those who attended the funeral, and expressed the size of the tragedy experienced by civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially children who pay the largest price under the siege and the continuous bombing.
The child Muhammad is only one of the thousands of similar cases, as many wounded are deprived of their right to treatment due to the complete collapse of the health system in the besieged sector, amid fears that thousands of children will throw the same fate in the event that the entry of aid and medical supplies continues to be banned.
