Israeli media reported serious damage to a building in Margaliot in the Upper Galilee following the firing of 3 anti-tank missiles from Lebanon on Monday.

The Israeli army also stated that a drone fell inside Lebanese territory, and the incident is being investigated.

The Israeli occupation army indicated that last night it bombed several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including the areas of Mays al-Jabal, Khiam, Hula and Yarin.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced – in a statement today, Monday – that it had targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Margaliot settlement using appropriate weapons, resulting in confirmed casualties.

The statement added that this bombing came in response to the Israeli occupation’s attacks on southern Lebanese villages and safe houses.

Earlier Monday, the party said that its fighters targeted Israeli forces at the Al-Malikiyah site with artillery shells while vehicles were entering it, and they directly hit it.

According to Israeli Channel 12, an anti-tank missile was launched from Lebanon and hit a building in the town of Margaliot near the border, and no casualties were recorded. Rockets were also observed falling in open areas in the Al-Malikiyah settlement in the Upper Galilee, without any casualties recorded.

Israeli attacks

The official Lebanese News Agency reported that Israel fired heavy bombs over the villages of Tire and Bint Jbeil districts in the south on Sunday night. After midnight, Israel also fired interceptor missiles over the villages of Naqoura, Alma Shaab, Tayr Harfa, and Al-Dhahira in the western sector.

For its part, the Israeli army said – in a statement on Monday – that a force from Unit 869 spotted, yesterday, Sunday, an armed cell operating in a Hezbollah military building in the Yaron area, and warplanes attacked the building.

He added that the raid planes carried out strikes during the night hours on other Hezbollah targets, including a weapons depot and a military building in the Mays al-Jabal area, in addition to a hostile target in the Khiam area and military installations in Houla.

Since the eighth of last October, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon have exchanged intermittent daily bombardment with the Israeli army across the Blue Line, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, most of them on the Lebanese side.

The factions say that they stand in solidarity with Gaza, which has been subjected to a violent Israeli aggression since last October 7, which has left more than 116,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing, amid famine and massive destruction.

Israel continues its war on Gaza despite orders from the International Court of Justice to immediately stop the ground attack on the city of Rafah, and to take temporary measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip.
