Hezbollah announced an attack with assault marches targeting a group of soldiers inside the Metulla settlement in northern Israel, resulting in “confirmed casualties,” according to a party statement.
Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that cars were damaged due to the targeting of the Metulla settlement with a bomb-laden drone from Lebanon, while an Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that fires broke out near the settlement following the attack.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation announced that the army shot down an air target in the Hula Plain area in northern Israel.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and its environs in northern Israel on suspicion of infiltration.
On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that Israeli fighter jets launched raids on the towns of Yaroun and Burgliya, in addition to the town of Khiam being subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.
The reporter said that an Israeli march targeted a car in the town of Wazzani, southern Lebanon, and the Lebanese News Agency reported that the driver survived after throwing himself outside.
In a related context, the Commander of the Northern Command approved an operational plan to launch an attack on Lebanon, in response to escalating tensions on the border.
Hezbollah attacks
On the other hand, Hezbollah mourned one of its fighters who was killed in an Israeli bombing in southern Lebanon, bringing his death toll since October 8 to 343.
Yesterday, Tuesday, Hezbollah carried out 7 operations against Israeli targets, bombing the Balsan Military Industries Factory in the Sa`sa settlement.
The party also targeted the headquarters of the Sahel Brigade in the Beit Hilal barracks and soldiers in the Al-Manara site and the Ramtha and Zabdin sites.
The party attacked with artillery marches at Nava Ziv and a Merkava tank at the Hadab Yarin site.
