The Lebanese Hezbollah carried out a series of missile attacks targeting the Israeli depth, reaching settlements in the West Bank, in response to the most violent air attack launched by Tel Aviv on Lebanon since October 8, 2023.

The rockets hit sites in the Golan Heights, Galilee, Haifa and Acre, and some of them fell in Israeli settlements west of Salfit, east of Qalqilya and south of Nablus in the West Bank, according to Palestinian and Israeli media reports.

Israeli media reported that a fire broke out at an Israeli army site near Salfit, and Palestinian platforms broadcast scenes showing missiles falling from Lebanon on settlements and their surroundings in the northwest of the West Bank.

Wide targeting circle

Israel sounded sirens in large areas including Greater Tel Aviv and locations near Ben Gurion Airport, as well as in Marj Ibn Amer and the West Bank.

Hezbollah announced in a series of statements since this morning that it had bombarded with dozens of missiles the Ramat David base and airport, the headquarters of the Northern Corps in the Ein Zeitim base, and the Rafael military industries complexes in the Zevulun area north of Haifa.

He also announced targeting the main warehouses of the northern region in the Nimra base with dozens of missiles.

Israel has detected about 165 rockets fired from Lebanon since this morning, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

Long range missiles

The Times of Israel reported that Hezbollah fired long-range missiles for the first time since the outbreak of the war.

Local media reported that a number of Israelis were injured as a result of rockets falling in the Galilee, and the Israeli Fire Authority announced that four of its crews were working to extinguish fires that broke out as a result of rockets falling in the town of Netofa in the Lower Galilee.

Meanwhile, Walla website quoted security sources as saying that the Israeli army had raised the alert level in the air force and air defense system.

The Israeli Army Radio also reported that the instructions for the home front from Haifa to the north were extended until next Wednesday.
