Hezbollah announced that it had attacked the Marj site and 6 other Israeli sites off the southern border of Lebanon and in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shuba Hills, while Israel launched raids on areas in southern Lebanon.

The party said that it bombed Israeli soldiers in Jabal Nizar, the Matla site and the Baram forest, and also targeted with rockets the Zibdin and Ramtha sites, and the headquarters of the Western Brigade in the Yara barracks.

In return, the Israeli army launched raids on several towns in southern Lebanon, and said that Hezbollah launch pads in southern Lebanon were targeted twice within 24 hours.

The Israeli army said it bombed targets in the village of Tyre Harfa and shelled areas in the Shebaa Farms with artillery. It also announced that its warplanes had raided missile platforms that were ready to launch in the areas of Maryamin and Yaroun.

40 missiles from Lebanon

The Israeli army said it had monitored the launch of about 40 rockets from Lebanon towards various areas of the Western Galilee during the last 24 hours.

He added, according to what was reported by the official Hebrew radio at dawn today, that his air defenses intercepted most of them and that some of them fell in uninhabited areas.

The Israeli army radio reported that 3 rockets fell in open areas in Misgav Am in the Upper Galilee. Sirens sounded in several areas, most notably 8 sites in the Western Galilee.

Hezbollah missiles

Channel 12 reported that Hezbollah has, according to Israeli estimates, 65,000 missiles with a range of 80 kilometers, 5,000 missiles with a range of 80 to 200 kilometers, and 5,000 missiles with a range of about 700 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army spokesman said that the 91st Galilee Division completed a joint exercise with police forces and other security services as part of raising readiness on the northern front.

The Israeli spokesman added that this maneuver aims to improve the qualifications of combat forces and command headquarters, treat and transport the wounded, and enhance cooperation and coordination between the various bodies on the northern front.

Since October 8, 2023, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon, most notably Hezbollah, have been exchanging daily shelling with the Israeli army across the “Blue Line” border, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, most of them on the Lebanese side.

These factions are linking the cessation of the bombing to Israel ending the war it has been waging with American support on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has left more than 134,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing.
