French leftist MP for the Proud France Party, Sebastien Delogo, said that he raised the Palestinian flag – during the parliament session – in objection to his country’s sale of weapons and military equipment to the Israeli army, which is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The MP – whose membership was suspended for 15 days because he raised the Palestinian flag in the Council – added that his country has been providing unconditional support to Israel since forever, which makes the majority of members of Parliament take sides and provide unconditional support for Israel.
Delogo said that the French people, who have been going out in daily demonstrations since the start of the war in Rafah, expressed their thanks to him for raising the Palestinian flag in Parliament, explaining that the people believe that Parliament is complicit in what is happening in Palestine.
The MP expressed his pride in raising the Palestinian flag in Parliament, stressing that the Proud France Party always stands by history, even though it believes that France is complicit in committing war crimes.
He attributed the decision to deny him entry to Parliament for 15 days to political reasons, calling for taking into account that France is arming the Israeli army and that the country’s president and the leaders of the armed forces act as if they are part of Israel and send weapons and ammunition to the Israeli army, which is carrying out genocide.
