“Morning coffee is for us… and a missile is for the enemies.” With this phrase, a social media pioneer commented on a widely circulated video clip of a member of the Al-Quds Brigades targeting the occupation forces in the Jabalia camp.

In details, scenes broadcast by the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – show one of its members drinking his morning coffee, crossing his legs and being hit by mortar shells and Israeli aircraft above him, close to the violent battlefield.

The video invaded social media platforms, and many activists interacted with it, and one of them commented, saying, “Young people break their fast, eat, and have dinner while hitting a mortar.”

While others described the scene with the phrase “the most beautiful morning from the land of Gaza,” pointing out that a member of the Al-Quds Brigades appears while sipping his morning coffee in comfort and bombarding his enemy with mortar shells at the same time.

While some activists mocked the Israeli occupation army and its soldiers, and compared the resistance members who face death with all composure and calm of mind, or as one of them said, “with a mortar shell, a cup of coffee, and sitting man on man,” in contrast to the occupation soldiers who take shelter inside the strongest armored vehicles.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – had previously revealed the overall operations of its fighters against the Israeli occupation during its incursion into the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, before its withdrawal.

For its part, the Israeli occupation army recently announced in a statement the end of its military operation in Jabalia, which lasted 20 days during which 10 soldiers were killed, according to the army’s announced statistics, amid accusations that Tel Aviv is concealing the true toll of the dead and wounded, in light of the ferocity of the battles and what the videos indicate. Broadcast by resistance factions.
