Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp resigned after failing to obtain sanctions against Israel in the face of the atrocities of Gaza.
Earlier this month, Slovenia joined Spain and Belgium to impose an embargo on arms in Israel.
Germany has followed suit, in part, interrupting the sale of weapons in Israel which could be used in Gaza “until further notice”.
The Netherlands also imposed a partial ban on parts for Israeli fighter planes, while Italy has suspended all new military exports to Israel in October.

Will this one action trigger broader political benefits through the block of 27 nations?
