The head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, said in response to the Israeli military operations in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip that Israel cannot impose its options on the movement.
Haniyeh added in a statement, “The enemy continues the massacres against the Palestinian people, children and women, the chapters of which are now taking place in Nuseirat and Deir al-Balah.”
He said that the world has classified the occupation as killing children, but it is unable to put an end to the war of extermination to which the Palestinian people in Gaza are subjected.
Haniyeh refers to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, yesterday, Friday, to include the Israeli army on the list of shame or the black list of child killers, after years of human rights organizations repeating this demand.
Haniyeh also stressed that the Palestinian people in Gaza will not surrender and that “the resistance will continue to defend our rights in the face of this criminal enemy,” pointing out that “if the occupation believes that it can impose its choices on us by force, then it is delusional.”
He added that the movement “will not agree to any agreement that does not achieve security for our people first and foremost,” stressing that “the occupation has failed militarily, fallen politically, and is morally fallen, and the world must take action.”
Haniyeh also called on “all the peoples of the nation and the free people of the world to rise up in the face of these brutal massacres and the rise of dozens of civilian martyrs.”
Today, the Israeli occupation launched an unprecedented attack on the Nuseirat camp and various areas in the central Gaza Strip, which included heavy air strikes, artillery shelling, and a ground attack, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 80 Palestinians, in addition to dozens of wounded.
The Israeli army announced that it was able to free 4 prisoners during this attack.
The Israeli occupation army has launched a major aggression against the Gaza Strip, since October 7 until today, leaving more than 36,800 martyrs and 83,680 injured, according to what the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Saturday.
