The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed today, Wednesday, that it continues its intensive and responsible efforts to make the ongoing round of negotiations in an effort to reach a comprehensive agreement that ends the aggression on the Gaza Strip and secures the entry of aid.
The movement said, in a statement, that it had expressed the necessary flexibility and agreed to release 10 prisoners as part of its keenness to make the ongoing efforts of the agreement a success.
She explained that the fundamental points remain under negotiation, foremost of which is the flow of aid, the withdrawal of the occupation and the guarantee of a permanent ceasefire, noting that despite this, you will continue to work seriously and in a positive spirit with the brokers to overcome obstacles and end the suffering in Gaza.
Earlier in the day, the leader of the enthusiasm of Taher Al -Nono said – in exclusive statements to Al -Jazeera Net – that the current round of negotiations is witnessing great challenges, and that the movement’s position is fixed regarding the basic requirements of any agreement with the occupation, foremost of which is the full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the cessation of the aggression comprehensively.
In the Qatari capital, Doha, a new round of indirect talks between a delegation representing Hamas and an Israeli delegation is currently continuing with the aim of discussing the details of an agreement ensuring the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip that has continued since October 7, 2023.
Hamas and the occupation had previously reached a ceasefire agreement in Gaza in January 2025, to be implemented in several stages, and the first stage of it reached 42 days, but Israel failed this agreement and resumed its attacks on the sector last March.
