Hamas: Netanyahu continues the policy of blatant lying about starving Gaza news

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, saying that he “threatens international peace and security and continues the policy of blatant lying regarding starving Gaza.”

The movement said in a statement, “The war criminal, Netanyahu, continues to disdain global public opinion, and repeats the same lies that he relied on to justify the campaign of extermination he is waging against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, and the allegations that have been proven false about what happened on October 7, 2023.” This is according to international press reports and investigations, or even internal Zionist investigations.”

She continued, “What the world heard today from the terrorist Netanyahu is a clear threat to international peace and security, by confirming his insistence on continuing to expand aggression against the peoples of the region, and continuing his brutal crimes based on a criminal American policy that provides political and military cover for these crimes.”

The movement considered Netanyahu’s claims that he allowed aid to enter Gaza to be a continuation of the policy of blatant lying, saying that the crime of starvation committed by the occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip is proven and documented by UN reports.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza on the 7th of last October, Israel has stopped basic life supplies of water, food, medicines and medical consumables, by closing the crossings and deliberately reducing the entry of relief aid, causing a worsening of the living conditions of the displaced, and the death of dozens of children due to malnutrition. caused by famine.

The movement stressed that the Palestinian people are the ones who decide their future, and that the day after the war in the Gaza Strip is a purely Palestinian national matter, and that the occupation’s plans to determine the future of the Strip will not find a way to be implemented, with the will of our people and their free resistance.

Hamas praised the withdrawal of delegations from most countries of the world from the United Nations meeting hall “as soon as the war criminal Netanyahu ascended to the podium.”

Video clips showed that the seats of most delegations of Arab and Islamic countries, which boycotted Netanyahu’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly, were empty, while the Israeli delegation tried to overcome this embarrassment by deliberately clapping continuously during his speech.

Netanyahu’s speech included harsh criticism of the United Nations and stressed Israel’s continued fighting in Gaza and Lebanon until “complete victory.”

Netanyahu stressed that what is required to end the war is for Hamas to surrender and release all “hostages,” and “if it does not, we will continue fighting.”

During his speech before the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, Netanyahu presented two maps showing the West Bank and Gaza Strip as part of Israel.

With American support, since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left more than 137,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

Netanyahu delivered his speech at the United Nations General Assembly at a time when the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, requested the issuance of two arrest warrants against him and his Defense Minister Yoav Galant. For their responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
