Hamas insists on its demands and Netanyahu wants a deal “but not at any cost” news

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, has brought him linking him with US President Donald Trump on the exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance.

Netanyahu claimed that he and Trump have a common goal, which is the liberation of Israeli prisoners (most of them soldiers) with the resistance in the Gaza Strip “and the end of the rule of (Islamic Resistance) Hamas”, and that they want a deal “but not at any cost.”

Netanyahu, who is required for international justice, said that they and Trump have “a strategy and a participant tactic, and this includes full coordination, not pressure,” in reference to the denial of the reports that indicated his pressure by Trump to stop the war on Gaza.

He pointed out that “Israel has additional demands, and we are working together to achieve this,” without further clarification.

Netanyahu’s comments came during his third visit to the United States since Trump took his second term on January 20. Trump met with Netanyahu on Tuesday for the second time in two days to discuss negotiations.

While the American envoy to the Middle East, Steve Wittouf, stated that Hamas and Israel are approaching to reach a ceasefire agreement, Hamas leader Taher Al -Nono said in statements to Al -Jazeera Net that the movement is fighting a round of negotiations that are not easy, and there is talk about two basic issues: entering aid and flowing freely without interference from the occupation, in addition to the occupation withdrawal lines in the first stage.

According to Reuters, Israel is demanding the control of about a third of the Strip, including the Morge axis, between the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, in addition to maintaining a controversial aid distribution system that is called the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” and supported by the United States.

Since the seventh of October 2023, Israel has committed American support for Gaza Gaza genocide, including killing, starvation, destruction and hybrid, ignoring international calls and orders to the International Court of Justice to stop it.

This war left more than 195,000 Palestinians between a martyr and a wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and the famine that has been tired of many, including dozens of children.
