Hamas denounces occupation’s abuse of Qabatiya martyrs’ bodies | News

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the “brutal scenes” of the Israeli occupation army throwing the bodies of martyrs from the roof of a house in Qabatiya, north of the West Bank, and considered that the crime would be fuel for popular anger against the occupation.

Hamas said in a statement on Thursday that the crime “confirms the barbarity and brutality of the occupation,” and stressed that “the occupation’s mutilation and mutilation of the bodies of the martyrs is a heinous crime that must be strongly condemned by all countries, international organizations, and human rights organizations.”

She added, “The horrific crimes in Gaza and the West Bank represent a flagrant violation of all international humanitarian and legal standards. The fascist occupation does not need an excuse to practice its killing and crimes against our people and the peoples of the region.”

She stressed that the scenes of occupation soldiers in Qabatiya “will be fuel for more popular anger, revolution and suicide operations.”

Video clips showed the occupation army mutilating the bodies of 3 Palestinian martyrs who were killed during an armed clash today in the town of Qabatiya near the city of Jenin, and throwing them from the roof of a house that was under siege and around which clashes had been taking place since this morning.

After that, an occupation forces bulldozer carried the bodies of the martyrs, and the identity of the martyrs has not yet been clarified.

In addition to these, two Palestinians were killed and 10 were injured by Israeli occupation army fire during its storming of Qabatiya today, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.

This is the second raid on the town of Qabatiya within two days, as the Israeli army raided it on Wednesday, surrounded a house, and arrested a Palestinian citizen before withdrawing.

In parallel with its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 700 Palestinians, the injury of about 5,700, and the arrest of more than 10,000, according to official Palestinian institutions.

While the Israeli war on Gaza left more than 136 thousand Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10 thousand missing, amidst massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
