Hamas condemns the Biden administration’s position on the Israeli massacres in Rafah News

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in a statement today, Wednesday, expressed its strong condemnation of the administration of US President Joe Biden’s ignoring of the horrific massacres committed by the Israeli army against displaced Palestinians in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Since Sunday evening, the Israeli army has carried out a series of devastating attacks against the displaced people who took refuge in tents in areas west of Rafah, after those areas were classified by Israel as “safe.”

Despite the International Court of Justice’s order to stop the ground attack on Rafah immediately, the massacres led to the death of 72 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, while a UN official announced that the number had reached 200.

The difference in numbers is due to the disruption of hospitals in Rafah and the presence of many critical injuries that did not receive treatment.

The movement also referred to the statements of the US National Security Council spokesman, who said that Israel has not yet crossed the red line set by President Biden, considering that this statement reflects the US administration’s disregard for the lives of civilians and its complicity in killing them, especially with the emergence of preliminary investigations indicating that The bombs used against the displaced were American-made.

In a report by the American CNN network, weapons experts confirmed, after examining footage circulated on social media, that Israel used American-made ammunition in one of the massacres it committed on Tuesday against the displaced in Rafah.

The Hamas movement held the American administration and the Israeli occupation responsible for these horrific massacres, and called for an end to the policy of double standards and an end to the United States’ participation in the killing of Palestinians.

She also stressed that this is “a historic responsibility that will pursue her, and all those complicit in the killing of innocent children and defenseless civilians, no matter how long it takes.”

Since the outbreak of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the United States has provided strong support to Israel at the military, intelligence, and diplomatic levels.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza left more than 117,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of many children and the elderly.
