Guterres: The American strike against Iran is a dangerous escalation news

UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres described US strikes on Iran as a “dangerous escalation in a region that faces risks and a direct threat to international peace and security”, and stressed that he is very concerned about the United States’ use of power against Iran.

“There is an increasing risk that this conflict will quickly take control of control, with severe consequences for civilians, the region and the world,” Guterres said in a statement issued early on this Sunday.

“At this critical moment, it is necessary to avoid chaos. There is no military solution. The only way to move forward is diplomacy. The only hope is peace,” he added.

President Donald Trump announced last night that the American army carried out a “very successful attack” on 3 Iranian nuclear sites, including the Fordo Festival Underpanic Fertification Establishment.

Trump said in a post on his platform “Truth Suchs”, “A full load of bombs was dropped on the main Fordo site,” noting that the planes that carried out the attack left the Iranian airspace in peace while they were on their way back.

Trump did not mention the type of American aircraft or ammunition that was used to target the Iranian nuclear installations.

Trump’s announcement came just two days after he said that he would decide “within two weeks” whether he would join his ally Israel to attack Iran.

Earlier on Saturday, it was reported that American B2 bombers are able to carry miraculous bombs, which were on their way outside the United States.

Tehran had threatened to launch retaliatory attacks on American forces in the Middle East if Trump attacked them, but the American president called for “peace”.
