Gulf countries reopen their atmosphere after closing them for hours news

The atmosphere was reopened in front of the air traffic in several Gulf countries, on Monday evening, hours after it was closed in light of security tensions in the region, as Iran bombed the many air base in Qatar.

The General Administration of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced the reopening of the airspace and the return of air traffic to and from Kuwait International Airport to normal.

The administration said in a post on X that this step comes “after ensuring the stability of the situation in the atmosphere surrounding the State of Kuwait.”

At the same time, the Dubai Government’s media office said that the Dubai Airports Company decided to resume its operations after a short stop of flights.

“Some flights may face delays or cancellation,” the office added in a post on X.

Likewise, the Bahraini News Agency reported that the Civil Aviation Affairs of the Ministry of Communications announced the reopening of the entire airspace of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Meanwhile, Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al Ansari said that Qatar would announce the reopening of the airspace soon.

Qatar, Bahrain, the Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq temporarily closed its airspace in light of the tensions in the region after the United States bombed the main nuclear facilities in Iran at dawn on Sunday.
