The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, had donated an amount of 100 million riyals to this campaign, in which everyone competed in a race to donate for Al-Fazaa for the benefit of the people of Gaza, where platforms were allocated to collect donations in 3 vital locations in the country, which are Darb Al-Saai, Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village.
The Charitable Activities Authority confirmed – in a statement – that the campaign comes within the framework of Qatar’s position in support of the Palestinian people, and to provide relief to the victims of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, especially the injured, orphans, widows, children, the elderly and pregnant women, noting that the campaign aims to receive donations from all segments of society, from Qataris. And residents, to purchase the necessary urgent needs of medicine, food, tents, clothing and water.
Qatari solidarity
In exclusive statements to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, Ahmed Fakhro, Assistant CEO of the Resource Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, said that the association hastened from the first day of the aggression to “relief our brothers in the sector as a moral and humanitarian duty” and is still continuing these efforts with the support of good people in Qatar.
He added that for this purpose, Qatar Charity launched several campaigns and initiatives, which culminated in its active participation in the joint campaign for Gaza relief, “Palestine’s Duty,” which coincided with the State’s National Day, which turned into a day of solidarity with the Palestinian people and those affected in Gaza.

Fakhro explained that the campaign reflected one of the images of the harmony of the Qatari government and people in supporting the Palestinian people and standing by them in their ordeal, and the broad interaction and support for this campaign in a remarkable manner, praising the generous donation from the Emir of the State to the campaign.
He pointed out that the amount that the campaign was able to collect will be reflected in the amount of aid that will continue to be provided to the afflicted people of Gaza soon, which will contribute to alleviating their suffering in such difficult circumstances.
Fakhro added that, given the tragic conditions that the residents of Gaza are still facing due to the lack of basic living necessities and life-supporting services, especially with the onset of winter, Qatar Charity continues to receive donations from citizens and residents on its land to provide urgent relief materials to the people of Gaza.
Air bridge
Fakhro added that Qatar Charity was able to deliver aid to the people of Gaza via the Qatari air bridge, with aid estimated at 225 tons arriving so far, from which about 224,000 people have benefited, as it included food supplies such as baby formula, wheat flour, tents, first aid bags, and personal hygiene bags. .
He pointed out that a few days ago, Qatar Charity – within the framework of its “Like One Body” campaign to confront the dangers of winter – completed the initiative to fly 10 relief planes for Palestine, and was able to exceed the declared goal of completing the preparation of 20 planes, whose cost is estimated at 20 million riyals.
He concluded that, since the first day of the Gaza events, last October, Qatar Charity launched its “For Palestine” campaign, which is still ongoing until now, in addition to the continuation of the “Like One Body” campaign to confront the dangers of winter, which focuses primarily on Palestine and areas of disasters and crises. In other regions of the world.
Aid ship
For his part, the Acting Secretary-General of the Qatar Red Crescent, Faisal Mohammed Al-Emadi, said that the “Palestine Duty” campaign is a wonderful example of the Qatari solidarity panic of citizens and residents in favor of the brothers in Palestine, led by the Emir of the country, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Al-Emadi added – in statements to Al-Jazeera Net – that thanks to donations to the campaign, the Qatari Red Crescent announced the operation of a ship loaded with various relief aid, the load of which is equivalent to the cargo of more than 30 aircraft, and it is expected to depart soon from Doha to provide relief to those affected by the aggression in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that cooperation between charitable humanitarian associations and bodies in Qatar confirms that “we are one hand and that integration between them is a dedication to Qatar’s humanitarian diplomacy.
