Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators organized gatherings and marches in world -in -solidarity cities with the Palestinians in Gaza, demanding the end of Israeli attacks against the besieged and bombed enclave while the famine imposed by Israel swallows the entire population.
In London, metropolitan police said they had arrested more than 466 people on Saturday during a demonstration against the British government’s decision to prohibit the action of the Palestine group.
British legislators have prohibited action in Palestine under anti -terrorist legislation in July after some of its members broke into a base of the Royal Air Force and damaged aircraft as part of a series of demonstrations. The group accuses the British government of complicity in what it calls Israeli war crimes in Gaza.
Protesters, some wearing Palestinian scarves in black and white and waving Palestinian flags, sang, “Hands Off Gaza” and I kept signs with the message “I oppose the genocide. I support the action of Palestine ”.
In Istanbul de Turkiye, thousands of demonstrators demanded that more aid be authorized to enter the strip, the organizers calling on the international community to take urgent measures to end the humanitarian crisis.
Many have also arrived in the streets of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, to protest against the blockade and Western support in Israel, demanding immediate delivery and without restriction of aid to Gaza.
Several pro-Palestine rallies also took place across Spain, notably in the capital, Madrid, to protest against Israeli attacks and famine in the enclave. Wearing Palestinian flags, the demonstrators shouted, “end to the genocide”.
In Geneva in Switzerland, thousands of people gathered in the English garden to protest against famine and deaths related to malnutrition in Gaza resulting from the Israeli blockade. The crowd organized a sit-in, shouting in English, French and Arabic to demand the end of international support for Israeli oppression of the Palestinians.
Large rallies showing support for people suffering from Gaza were also organized in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
