Local buses, trams and metros are at a standstill across much of Germany on Thursday, with transport workers walking off the job as part of a new two-day strike.

In Germany, the country is affected by a series of strike movements, particularly in public transport.

This Thursday buses, metro and tram were stopped, transport staff announced a two-day strike, which should end tomorrow

These are the union, which called for a “warning strike”. At the origin of the conflict, the working conditions, the employees are demanding the establishment of a working week and additional days of compensation for the night work.

The concomitance of strikes hitting the rail, airports and local transport sectors has made these few weeks frustrating for German travelers who can get used to the large-scale strike.
